Weihnachts in Boerne: A Magical Family Tradition

Get ready for small-town cheer this weekend, starting Friday, December 5th, with a Wassail Walk and Caroling Contest along the Hill Country Mile! Participating businesses will have their spin on the warm winter drink favorite, while Carolers will be vying for your vote as they sing holiday tunes from 4-8 p.m.

The highlight of Weihnachts Weekend is the 38th annual Weihnachts Parade taking place Saturday, December 6, at 6 p.m., when downtown will light up with nearly 100 floats spreading holiday cheer along Boerne’s Main Street. Bring a chair if you'd like to sit along the parade route, or enjoy strolling up and down the Hill Country Mile all evening! Our shops, breweries, bistros and more will be open late, with plenty of opportunities to grab a drink, sweet treat or snack. Be sure to make reservations early for meals and lodging during these busy nights!

Another Weihnachts Weekend favorite is the annual Stocking Stroll, taking place Friday and Saturday, December 5 and 6. This is a limited ticketed event, with tickets going on sale November 5 through the Boerne Parks & Recreation portal.

It's a merry mistletoe evening in Boerne. Celebrate our olde town heritage with Christmas-y beverages, late-night shopping, and strolling carolers.

What to expect:

Stop and savor hot, Christmasy beverages like mulled wine, wassail, and more as you enjoy some late-night shopping.

Strolling carolers will be popping into all of the participating businesses. Be sure to vote for your favorite!
